Hello! The US Plant (UCB) was established inClarinda,Iowa, 1988. Clarinda is a small country town with a population of 5,000. Located approximately in the center of the American continent, the plant appears to be standing in a field of corn.
The local Americans are extremely kind and very friendly. On the weekends during the on-season, you can enjoy golf, bass fishing, BBQs and various other mainly outdoor activities. With golf in particular, it is possible to play for one-fifth the price of a game inJapan. It’s certainly a great location for golf lovers!
Of course, this is a workplace where English is used more frequently than Japanese. If you are motivated to learn English, this is an excellent environment for you!
