Selamat Siang! (Hello!) Established in 2000, the Indonesia Plant (AJB) produces mainly balls for use in household appliances. With the current increasing demand withinIndonesiaand throughoutAsia, we are in the process of building a new plant for balls for use in automobiles and motorcycles.
Indonesians are very friendly towardsJapanand Japanese, and always greet AKS employees assigned fromJapanin loud, cheery voices when they pass by in the plant.Indonesiaalso has the world’s largest population of Muslims, and it is possible to come in contact with various values here. The climate is hot as the country is on the Equator, but it is comparatively comfortable since there is not as much humidity as there is inJapan.
