2. Heading |
In the process of making a piece
of ball, wire material is cut to the required length, then is headed by dies
into a ball Headed balls have a band on equator. |

3. Flashing |
| Regular quantity of balls, headed in Heading process, are fed into two grooved discs in order, then rotation of the disc, with added pressure, removes the band on equator to make balls with regulated dimension. |

4. Heat Treatment |
| Balls are quenched, and tempered in a fully controlled furnace. These procedures give the balls sufficient strength and durability. |

The processing method is the same as in 5.Grinding process, different material of disc is used in each process to reach the required diameter and improve the dimensional accuracy of balls. |

8.Visual Inspection |
Smear on the ball surface is cleansed and removed. Then light is spotted to the whole surface of a ball which automatically spins. Pass/Fail is determined by the reflection level. |

9. Packing |
Balls which have passed visual inspection are packed in cartons, after being treated with rust preventive oil. |
